Audio - Class Introduction
- First Class Session:
The A7 & D chords

Remember to practice about 15 minutes each day, pick a time of day
when you always have "free". Make that your time to practice.
You can print this music by doing a right click on the music image,
and then save it to your machine. From there you can print it.

Remember that when you are playing a piece of music,
if you don't know the chord then just wait until you
know a chord to begin again.

Review and practice your four guitar chords along with all
of the above music! Have fun!
The chords are A7, D, G & A chords
- Fifth Class Session:
Brenda really liked the following song, the new chords are Em7 & A7sus.
Be sure and watch out for that final A chord, play it only when
you are repeating the song.

The C chord is the new kid on the block.
Play Do Lord lightly and quickly, with a down and up
motion, picking out the base and then treble strings.

Muff is pure funny satire based upon an old P, P & M song.
I gives you a chance to try out your ballad voice and
guitar chords. Try to keep a straight face!

- Here are some Rules of Thumb!
     

- Practice about fifteen minutes each day, in five minute sessions
- When you practice, practice!    Don't think about other things.
- If your fingers become really sore or blistered, stop practicing until you heal!
- Use an emory board or rough surface and "file" your fingertips about ten seconds each day.
- Pick a time of day to practice in which you always have free. For instance, right before you go to bed each night.
- When you pick out a song to play, be sure to "make it your own" . . put all of yourself into it!
