- Second Class Session:
The A & G chords

Remember that when you are playing a piece of music, if you don't know the chord then just wait until you know a chord to begin again.
Here is the music that we have:

Brenda really liked the following, the new chords are Em7 & A7sus.
Be sure and watch out for that final A chord, play it only when
you are repeating the song.

Here's a country/blue grass type of song. The C chord is the new kid on the block.
Play Do Lord lightly and quickly, with a down and up motion, picking out the base and then treble strings. Here is the new music:

We have more, the Em, Am & D7 chords

Muff is pure funny satire based upon an old P, P & M song. I gives you a chance to try out your ballad voice and guitar chords. Try to keep a straight face!

- Here are some Rules of Thumb!

- Practice about fifteen minutes each day, in five minute sessions
- When you practice, practice!    Don't think about other things.
- If your fingers become really sore or blistered, stop practicing until you heal!
- Use an emory board or rough surface and "file" your fingertips about ten seconds each day.
- Pick a time of day to practice in which you always have free. For instance, right before you go to bed each night.
- When you pick out a song to play, be sure to "make it your own" . . put all of yourself into it!
